Defensive Riding Course

Objectives

 

• Reduce commuting accidents among motorbike users

 

• Identify strategies to change negative attitudes of riders in the workplace

 

• Understand the consequences of negative attitudes when riding on the road

 

• Perform inspection of motorcycle in a safe manner

 

• Application of Safe Riding Gears (PPE) with the emphasis of proper usage of approved safety helmets

 

Leaning Outcome

 

• The participants can perceive critical Riding situations and respond appropriately and safely to avert accidents.

• Motorbike Maintenance–Lecture & hands-on interaction with the Riders on knowledge on how to maintain and check their motorcycle condition (technical parts – eg tyre conditions/ maintenance requirements etc
